The dark brown surface gives the pale dial a strong frame. A narrow margin of leather remains visible beside the case; light stitches trace the wider centre before following the taper.

The gallery moves from the fitted watch to the buckle, pointed end and empty centre. Seen closed, the strap makes a continuous loop with two small keepers securing the tail.
