A broad tan backing remains visible around this dark-dial watch. Short crosswise stitch lines mark the leather attachments above and below the case, while the outer seam follows the pad.

The close photographs show the case sitting over the backing, the pointed strap end and the folded leather at the buckle side. The dark edge gives a clear boundary to the lighter leather surface.
